I’ve been testing out the NYX Cosmetics Total Control Foundation for a few weeks now. I decided to get it because I’ve heard great things about it from my favorite beauty gurus on YouTube. As someone who has oily skin, I wanted to see if this held up the test on my skin. I like a good matte foundation and matte finish when it comes to makeup looks. I’ve never used a foundation that came in droppers so this was fairly new to me.

It’s been a few months since Ashleigh and I have done the Beauty Mix series. But we are definitely ready to share with you some looks for September through December. This time we have 2 new beauties collaborating with us; Kelsie & Lily. These girls are such great bloggers and I’ve gotten to know them very well. I love that they both love beauty as much as Ashleigh and I do.
As we are slowly transitioning from Summer to Autumn, we are definitely looking forward to our mini vacation we are planning in October. We want to make sure that we do as much as we can in Autumn with the boys because that’s our favorite season of the year. There are so many fun festivals up north from Wisconsin which means we would need to stay up there. Of course, when traveling anywhere you want to make sure you bring all of the essentials when it comes to traveling.
Last week I talked about finding the right primer based on your skin type and this week it’s all about finding the right foundation based on your skin type. Believe it or not, many people select the wrong foundation because they think it’ll work on their skin. But the truth is that not all foundations work on your skin. There are certain types of foundation that are meant for your skin type.
Summer drinks are always my favorite thing about summer. There’s something about a good frozen drink on a hot summer day. If you’re like me, I love a good frozen margarita. Great way to mix your favorite fruits with tequila and blend it all together. Now before summer ends, I wanted to share with you a quick and easy fun margarita that you can make.

As the new school year is getting closer for my boys, I will be getting back into a very quick morning routine for myself. We have to be out the door by 7:15 am. This means getting up early and being able to apply makeup in within 30mins or less. If you’re a busy mom with kids attending school, this 5 Minute Day Time Peachy Eye is super simple and easy to do with the new Too Faced Peaches & Cream collection exclusively available at Sephora and Sephora inside JCPenney.

Are you someone who has issues with finding the right deodorant that works for you? I was that person that struggled to find a good deodorant that would help with stress sweat. Yup, whenever my anxiety kicked in or I was stressing out about something I would sweat right through my shirt so that meant my arm pit sweat was showing. I didn’t smell, I just had that issue with the deodorant taking care of my stress sweat.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of SSM Health St. Mary’s. The opinions and text are all mines. Last month I talked to you about Rylan’s Birth Story but today I’m going to be talking about Landon’s Birth Story at SSM Health St. Mary’s. I’m going to be completely honest with you ladies but Landon’s pregnancy was another dramatic event for me. I had morning sickness all 9 months and six months into the pregnancy I was having issues with my anemia. I had to get 2 units of blood transfusion in order for me to stay alive. He was taking all of my red blood cells. But one thing I knew was that I was going to have Landon by c-section. I didn’t want a traumatic delivery again so thankfully my doctor was amazing about it and told me c-section would be a good idea.
Sponsored Post: This post is sponsored by Illy, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. Are you someone who has a morning routine? As a mom and full-time blogger, I love having a morning routine. I may not always be good with following every single thing in the morning but at least I get it done.I’ve read posts where bloggers like to share what their day looks like and that’s what I wanted today’s post to be about. But before I get things started I have to drink coffee. I’m a hot coffee person but in the summer, I do enjoy drinking iced coffee.
