I swear brands knew that I was decluttering my lipstick drawer because I have received so many lipsticks from different brands. The first brand I am going to be talking to you about is Physicians Formula. They launched these back in October (I believe) so when I saw these 13 Velvet Liquid Lipsticks in my mailbox I was so excited. Because I love a good velvet lipstick, so I had to see if these stood up to the other velvet lipsticks I have.

Physicians Formula The Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipsticks
There are 13 different shades of the Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick collection. They are a creamy formula that is infused with avocado oil, vitamin A & E, hyaluronic acid, anti-aging peptides and a blend of treatment oils. Which make this liquid lipstick skin-loving ingredients that keep your lips comfortable and hydrated through wear.
I will say that the liquid lipsticks are a light-weight creamy texture but it dries down to a soft matte. The shades are pigmented and apply evenly with one swipe. I am a fan of the applicator. It’s a tapered point, which makes it easy to line your lips without needing any extra products. It reminds me of the Pixi MatteLast applicator.

In my opinion, I do like this liquid lipstick. The only issue I had was with Noir-ishing Plum. It didn’t apply evenly on my lips. It was very patchy so I had to fix it twice in order to get it to work. I will say that a few of the colors do STAIN. I had stains on my arm from swatching them and a few stained my lips as I was switching colors. But that just goes to show that the colors are pigmented.
I did test out the wear and I was able to eat and drink without having to retouch so much. Normally with other liquid lipsticks, I have to retouch but with these, it wasn’t that much of a problem.
