This post has been a long time coming. I received the Soiree Diaries palette from PUR Cosmetics a few weeks ago and I was extremely in love with the packaging. I mean how cute is this marble packaging with the rose gold lettering. Two of my favorite things. Besides the packaging is so pretty, so are the colors inside. I’m a huge fan of dark and warm tone shades. And that’s what this palette has.

Soirée Diaries is a mix of satin, matte and shimmery eyeshadows. It contains the perfect mix of neutral, copper and bronze shades. I can’t really tell which shades are matte or satin because to me the colors look alike. I’m going to assume that the first row of shades are satin and the second row is matte. I really wish they would have stated that in the palette but either way, the colors are so pigmented. The palette is everything you need to create the perfect day time to night time look.
The good thing about this palette is that there is no fallout. Some of the shades take a little more to show up on the eyes (mainly the first row of shades) but nothing to be disappointed about.
(Top to bottom)
Private Party – is a cream shade with a subtle hint of pink.
Socialite – peachy shade which is perfect to use as a transition shade.
Gala – another great taupe transition shade.
Mogul – Creamy shade with a warm undertone. I’d say perfect for a brow highlight.

Splurge – is a neutral mid-tone brown, great for further defining the crease.
Stunner – my absolute favorite shade from this palette, a beautiful warm, teddy bear brown. You can use it in the crease or all over the lid for a warm smoky eye.
Snazzy – is a dark brown with a hint of purple, a bit patchy so you may need to build it up, but works well for defining the outer corner.
Epic – another dark brown, I would describe it as a blackened brown.

I’m most excited about these because of creamy and wet they look without having to get your brush wet.
Glitzy – gold shade which almost every palette has because duh we need gold.
Twinkle – a beautiful rose gold shade, not too sparkly and suitable for everyday wear.
Dazzle – gorgeous taupe and a favorite of mine. If you’re looking for the perfect shade for a one shadow look, this is it.
Cosmo – is a shimmery blackened brown, similar in tone Epic. Perfect for a smokey eye look.
Here’s an eye look I created using the Soiree Diaries.
I would definitely recommend this palette. This one is by far my favorite palette from PUR Cosmetics and I’ve tried quite a few of their palettes.
