Ride or Die Drugstore Makeup

Ride or Die Drugstore Makeup

This post has been a long time coming. But I kept pushing it off because I wanted to make sure that I shared products that I was truly loving and constantly using. I’ve seen this on YouTube but I decided to do a post instead. I love purchasing drugstore makeup because they’re just as good as high-end makeup. If you notice that I don’t have any eyeshadows on here because I have WAY too many favorite drugstore eyeshadow palettes. So I will share that in a different post.

Primers:

e.l.f Cosmetics Matte Putty Primer – If you’re looking for something that’s going to hide your pores, this is a good primer for that. It also keeps your skin matte if you’re oily. They do have other options such as luminous and poreless.

Revlon PhotoReady Prime Plus Mattifying and Pore Reducing Primer – I love this primer so much. Not only does it give you smooth canvas but it also hides your pores and keeps you matte. They also have a Perfect + Smoothing and Brightening + Evening Skin Tone.

Makeup Revolution Poreless Blur – This is a dupe (in my opinion) for the Benefits Cosmetics Porefessionals. I love how blur my pores look with this primer. They also have a matte, color corrector, and hydrate version.

Foundations:

NYX Cosmetics Total Control Drop – This foundation has been my favorite foundation from NYX. I use to love their “Matte Never Flat” foundation but this one is WAY better. I always get compliments when I use this foundation. You also have complete control of the coverage you want.

Maybelline Matte + Poreless – I’m sure you guys are probably getting sick of me talking about this but I can’t help it. This foundation is BOMB. I refuse to stop using it. Especially cause it helps with my oily skin.

Revlon PhotoReady Candid Glow – I love this foundation for when I want to achieve a glowy look without looking oily. It has beautiful medium coverage.

Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation with SPF15 – This will be my go-to foundation for the summer as it has SPF. Need to protect the skin from the sun. I love that it’s lightweight but with medium coverage. You can definitely build up the coverage. [Read the review]

Concealers:

Maybelline Fit Me – I haven’t stopped using this concealer since it came out. Just like the foundation I love this formula of concealer.

Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Concealer – By far one of my favorite concealers at the moment. Even though it’s full coverage it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.

COVERGIRL TruBlend Undercover Concealer – Absolutely beautiful finish. It’s lightweight and you get a medium to full coverage.

Powders:

Catrice Primer & Fine Waterproof Mattifying Pressed Powder – I have used this in the summer and when it comes to making sure I stay matte, I depend on this. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and it’s also translucent so it works on any skin tone.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder – Another great product for oily skin girls. It helps minimize the appearance of large pores.

Maybelline Shine Control Loose Powder – When I’m baking I love to use this loose powder. It helps with controlling the shine and it does last all day.

Bronzers:

I love bronzers and it can’t contain any orange tones. None of the following bronzers have any orange tone.

Blushes:

I love blush. Blush for me has to be pigmented and these are the only blushes that I’ve found that are drugstore to be pigmented.

Highlighters:

When it comes to highlighting, there can’t be any glitter in it. I hate that and these highlighters definitely don’t have any glitter.

Thanks for talking about products for oily skin, I am 58 & still have shine visible from space. I live in Wales so think I can’t get a few of these brands.
