Since this was my first time traveling, I really wasn’t sure what skincare and makeup products I wanted to bring. When I was going through my makeup products I wanted to make sure I was packing products that were travel-friendly and things I wouldn’t be too worried about getting damaged during the flight. Thankfully NONE of that happened. I did have two cosmetics bags one from Elemis and the other is from Bella & Bear Floral Makeup Bag.
Sometime last year, I received a package from Elemis which included their travel sized products inside a cute travel cosmetic bag. I, of course, had to make sure I took those skincare products instead of buying travel size products or bringing the regular size.
Skincare + Makeup I Packed for Vacation
Elemis Misha Nonoo Travel Essential Collection
If you were unaware the Elemis collaborated with Misha Nonoo. She designed this cute travel size cosmetics bag and in the bag, it contained travel size products for hair, skin, and body from Elemis. The products that were inside the bag were: Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser, Balancing Lavender Toner, Papaya Enzyme Peel, White Flowers Eye & Lip Makeup Remover, Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Frangipani Monoi Shower Cream and Frangipani Monoi Body Oil. I swear by Elemis skincare products. I have yet to be disappointed by their products. My mom and best friend even love their products.
But I decided to only pack the:
- Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser
- Balancing Lavender Toner
- White Flowers Eye & Lip Makeup Remover
- Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
When it comes to sunscreen especially my face I have to be careful with what I used and I definitely liked the Coola Sunscreen vs the SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen. The Coola Sunscreen was a cream formula and the SuperGoop was more of a silicone formula. Not a huge fan.
Other great skincare products I loved although it’s also in the makeup category is the Coola Makeup Setting Spray, Colorescience Mineral Whipped Sunscreen, Natural Finish Pressed Powder and Sunforgettable Brush-On Shield.
Natural Finish Pressed Powder was added on top of my foundation for a little coverage and of course sun protection.
Coola Makeup Setting Spray was good to have to set my makeup but to also protect my skin from the sun.
Patchology On The Fly Travel Treatment – I’ve heard great things about doing masks after being on the plane (or traveling period) and Waxing the City was kind of enough to give me this goodie for my vacation. I really loved having these masks on hand. It comes with a FlashMasque Hydrate, FlashMasque Illuminate, FlashPatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels, and FlashPatch Hydrating Lip Gel.

After this vacation, I definitely realized that I missed a few items that I wish had brought that were makeup products. But I knew I had to be picky when it came to packing.
