Hello February! January felt like a whole year. It took forever to get through that month. I am happy February is here and this is the month of love. Valentine’s Day is 11 days away and I am kicking it off with this soft romantic makeup look. I used a drugstore eyeshadow palette to create this look. I was sent this palette a few months ago and totally forgot about it. When I was cleaning my vanity I found it and I made sure to put it aside so I could remember to use it for this makeup look.
Soft Romantic Makeup Look
When it comes to Valentine’s Day I like a simple makeup look as much as I love a glam makeup look. It’s easy to do simple looks less time on the eyes. As I mentioned before I used a drugstore eyeshadow palette and that is the Rimmel London Magnif’eyes Eyeshadow Palette (Crimson Edition). This palette is a DUPE for the Naked Cherry by Urban Decay. It resembles the palette pretty well and the colors are just as beautiful.
I wish these palettes had names so you’d know which shades I used to create this eye look but you’d just have to watch my video to see for yourself. Colors blend so beautifully together. I did have some trouble with the shimmers when I used a flat eyeshadow brush but using your finger works better. I used mostly the mauve and brown tones to create this eye look. To me adding the lashes made this look so much better but if you prefer no lashes, you can totally rock this eye look.
