Spring Beauty Favorites

Hello, Spring weather. We are finally having warm temps and I’m not even mad about it. If anything I’m ready because I want to be out on my balcony, enjoy long walks with Hazel and watch my boys play baseball. With it being Spring that means I’ve had to change my skincare routine and of course, switch out makeup products as my skin isn’t as dry anymore with the weather warming up. A few of these I’ve shared on my Instagram stories but I figured I would share a post rounding up my favorite skincare and makeup items for Spring. Right now my skin is combination skin. Where I am oily in the t-zone area and normal for the rest of my face.

Spring Makeup Favorites

I am going to start off with my current favorite makeup items. Some of these are new to me and others I’ve talked about a million times because I freaking love it.

Wet’n Wild Rebel Rose Photo Focus Primer: I freaking have been loving this primer. It’s so freaking hydrating but also makes the foundation look smooth and good. It doesn’t give a glowy look at all which I don’t mind but I highly recommend it.

Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation SPF 20: What I love the most about this foundation is that it contains SPF. So I don’t have to worry about remembering if I applied a moisturizer that contains an SPF because the foundation actually has some. SPF is important in the spring/summer time.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: Thanks to my friends Kelsie & Steffanie for recommending this foundation. This is the foundation I’ll be wearing on my wedding but I have been loving this foundation. It gives a full coverage look without it looking so cakey or heavy on the skin. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Works well on oily skin.

Makeup Revolution Concealer: This a definitely a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape concealer. Don’t get me wrong I love the Tarte Shape Tape concealer BUT it’s a bit much for everyday wear. I love that the Makeup Revolution Concealer isn’t as heavy feeling but it still gives full coverage. Plus it’s $7 compared to Tarte which is $27.

Makeup Revolution Bake & Blot Pressed Powder: If you get oily like me in the t-zone area, this is a game changer. I love that I can easily carry it within my purse. Whenever I start to get oily throughout the day, I can apply some with a brush and done.

Spring Skincare Favorites

Pixi Beauty Glow Mud Cleanser: I have been using this cleanser at night. I love how it makes my skin feel so good, soft and refreshed. It exfoliates my skin and detoxifies my pores. I use this only at night since I wear makeup throughout the day and it’s a good cleanser to use to clean deep into my pores.

Advanced Clinicals Collagen Instant Plumping Serum: I love adding collagen to my skin. It gives my skin a beautiful glow and it does make it look plumper. Great to use in the am or pm. I like to alternate.

Heladerm Illuminating Creme: Springtime means having glowy skin. I love using this am if I want to rock a glowy look without makeup. It’s an everyday moisturizer. It brightens, evens skin tone, fades spots, and reduces redness. Helps protects and prevents from the sun and air pollution-induced pigmentation disorders. Protects, repairs and improves skin smoothness, complexion, and homogeneity of challenge and stressed skin so it gives you a youthful, vibrant and firm skin.

Clinique ID: I’ve talked about this before on Instagram and I love that you can create a custom moisturizer based on your skin concerns. On days that my skin feels oily I love to use this because it controls my oily skin.

Now, this could change as the weather gets warmer. I will definitely be sharing summer beauty favorites if it changes.
