How many of you love to just take that time and pamper yourself? I know I do. Especially with having two kids and running a blog full time, it can get stressful. My favorite ways to unwind and relax is definitely by taking pampering myself at home.
Today I’m going to share with you about a fun bath time ritual you can do that will help you unwind and relax on those stressful days with Rituals Cosmetics.
What is Rituals Cosmetics?
In the year 2000 founder Raymond Cloosterman started his adventure from a deeply rooted passion: “I passionately believe that we can transform our daily routines into more meaningful moments if we pay just a little bit more attention to the details. This philosophy led to a unique concept of combining home and body cosmetics, and this is how RITUALS… was born. With a luxurious collection of high quality products to enrich body and soul we offer anything from body and facial care to scented candles, clothing, perfumes, gemstone make-up, and tea.” Raymond Cloostermanfounder of Rituals Cosmetics
I was happy when they sent me their Rituals of Sakura collection. I wish you guys could smell these products. They smell so good. Not kidding either. The first product I had to try was definitely their bath foam.
Did you know that Cherry Blossoms is a symbol of purity in Japan?
Sakura Bath Foam – It’s a creamy and silky bath foam. Leaves your skin feeling nourished and silky soft. It contains organic rice milk and floral fragrance of cherry blossoms.
Note: 1 bottle is 500ml which means its good for 10 baths depending on how much of it you use.
Sakura Shower Gel – Unique gel-to-foam technology based on Organic Rice Milk and Cherry blossom. It almost looks like you’re applying shaving cream but it’s not. This will cleanse your skin but also leaves your skin feeling silky soft.
Sakura Shower Oil – This is new to me. I’ve never heard of a shower oil at all and I didn’t know how this would work but after reading how you do it, I REALLY LOVED IT. It’s a caring shower oil that transforms into a silky soft foam on contact with water.
Tip: Rinse the bath or shower well after use to avoid slipping.
Sakura Body Scrub -a luxurious combination of organic sugar and wonderful softening oils to gently and intensely remove dead skin cells. It’s specially developed to nourish and revitalize even the driest of skins, it’ll leave you with a glowing skin.
Sakura Body Lotion – It’s more like a body butter I think. Special technology makes this whipped cream easy to apply while its rich and velvety formulation nourishes the skin. It contains antioxidants, vitamin E, and the ingredient Centella Asiatica, which helps strengthen your skin. It intensively nourishes and firms the skin.
Miracle Balm (Hand Cream) – This one isn’t from their Sakura collection. The luxuriously rich hand balm was specially developed to soothe and calm dry, rough hands. The ingredient Glycerine leaves your hands feeling nourished and soft. Combines the soft scent of nourishing White Lotus, with Ginkgo Biloba which in Japan represents life and strength.
Sakura Bed & Body Mist – Light bed & body mist gently covers your skin and linen with a fine dew. Gives the skin a flourishing feeling with the scent of young Cherry Blossom. Contains moisturizing ingredients
Love using this as a perfume.
My opinion –
I definitely love this. The scent is something that I have never smelled before. I have sensitive skin and this didn’t cause any reactions whatsoever, which is a PLUS for me. Brian loves it when I use it. When I used the bath foam for the first time it made my whole bathroom smell like cherry blossoms. It was so relaxing too.
The good thing about this brand is that you can purchase online or certain store locations. They also carry other collections.
