‘Tis the season to be jolly. I love this time of the year because it’s truly filled with friends, family, and of course sharing. I don’t know about you guys but when we get together for the holidays, I love to snack on food. Especially food choices that are easy and offer a savory snack. I have a huge addiction to Wonderful Pistachios.
The Perfect Snack this Holiday Season
I love snacking on Wonderful Pistachios because they are so darn delicious and let’s be honest, once you have one you can’t stop. They’re packed with fiber and protein instead of sugar. Wonderful Pistachios also keep you full for longer and contains heart-healthy goodness. Some people don’t enjoy removing the shells but I do. I love that I can open the shell and savor every moment instead of swallowing handfuls at a time.
Scientific evidence suggests but does not prove that eating 1.5 ounces per day of most nuts, such as pistachios, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease. See nutritional information for fat content.
The boys and I have a favorite and that is the good ole Wonderful Pistachios Roasted & Salted but we also like the Wonderful Pistachios Lightly Salted. But Brian has been loving the Wonderful Pistachios Spicy Chili. But if you’re looking for a healthier alternative definitely try the Wonderful Pistachios No Salt. They are dry roasted Pistachios with no added oil. They’re also Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, Kosher certified, Halal certified and vegan.
This season, Wonderful Pistachios, will be donating $.10/unit for Wonderful Pistachios Roasted & Salted and Wonderful Pistachios Roasted No Salt sold at Walmart up to $100k. The donations will benefit Toys for Tots, and the collection period will run from November 1 – December 24, 2019.
As a mother myself, I love those Wonderful Pistachios is donating to Toys for Tots because every kid deserves a present this holiday season.
