I’m going, to be honest with you, the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette was in my Ulta cart when it came out and right before I purchased it, I received this in my mailbox. I was NOT expecting Urban Decay to send me a PR package of their Naked Heat Collection. I literally screamed like a little girl when I opened the package. Of course, I had to play around with this palette for a while before sharing my input on this palette because there have been SO MANY mixed reviews out there but I wanted to share my opinion.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Collection
Right off the bat, the packaging reminds me of the Naked Smoky. I love that because I didn’t really like the packaging on the other palettes. The palette comes with 12 shades but out of the 12 shades, there are only 5 shimmery shades the rest of the shades are matte which I don’t mind because I am a matte girl. The swatches below are finger swatches.
Top to Bottom:Ounce, Chase, Sauced & Low Blow
Ounce – Ivory Shimmer
Chaser – Light Nude Matte
Sauced – Soft Terracotta Matte
Low Blow – Brown Matte
Top to Bottom:Lumbre, He Devil, Dirty Talk & Scorched
Lumbre – Copper Shimmer with Gold Pearl Shift
He Devil – Burnt Red Matte
Dirty Talk – Metallic Burnt Red
Scorched – Metallic Deep Red with Gold Micro Shimmer
Top to Bottom:Cayenne, En Fuego, Ashes & Ember
Cayenne – Deep Terracotta Matte
En Fuego – Burgundy Matte
Ashes – Deep Reddish Brown Matte
Ember – Deep Metallic Copper Burgundy
The colors in this palette are pigmented and rich. I was really impressed with it considering there were bad reviews. The colors are neutral which is perfect for mixing with one another and using every day. Of course, you can create SO MANY different looks with this palette. I feel like this palette is a great summer palette but can be transitioned into fall.
As part of the Naked Heat Collection, there are 3 lipsticks and 2 eyeliners to use. I have used Urban Decay’s Vice lipsticks before and I was in awe when I saw these 3 lipsticks in the collection.
Fuel is a creamy semi-matte lipstick. Great for everyday wear. Heat and Scorched are both metallic lipstick shades. Heat is not so pigmented on the first layer application but it is buildable. The only issue is that it does leave glitter particles. Which is a pain sometimes. Scorched opaque in one layer and is much less gritty feeling than Heat for sure.
24/7 Glide-On Eyeliners (Alkaline & Torch) are so creamy, pigmented and last a long time. I hate when eyeliner pencils aren’t creamy because it makes it hard to apply to the waterline but these are not like those pencils.
Overall opinion – GET THIS PALETTE! Seriously get it. I can’t wait to use this palette for some upcoming fall makeup looks I will be creating. Cause the purple shades are screaming fall.
If you have this palette, what are your thoughts on it?
