Valentine's Day Dinner for Two with Hy-Vee

Thanks to Hy-Vee for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions and thoughts presented are entirely my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that support Jasmine Maria Blog!

I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is around the corner. The best part is that it’s on a Sunday this year. Fun little fact, Brian and I actually don’t go out for Valentine’s Day we love cooking dinner together and just being at home. We just don’t like to wait for a table at restaurants. For Valentine’s Day dinner we love coming up with a meal plan but this year we decided to get Valentine’s Day Meals from Hy-Vee.

The reason why I opted into doing one of Hy-Vee’s Valentine’s Day Meals is that it was convenient. I was able to purchase it on the Hy-Vee Aisles Online, select the one I wanted out of three options and was able to pick it up within 2 days. But if you’re a Hy-Vee Plus member, you can do a 2-hour pickup and standard delivery with a $30 order. The Hy-Vee Aisles Online is super convenient for those who don’t want to go in stores at all and prefer to do a pickup. You can pretty much shop for anything like flowers, dinner, chocolates or more. You can place an order on their website or download the free Hy-Vee app.

Now, let’s talk about Valentine’s Day Meals that we selected. We selected the Couple’s Cuisine for $60. This meal option came with:

  • Two, 5 oz. Hy-Vee Choice Reserve tenderloins.
  • Two, 4 oz. lobster tails
  • Two, 5 oz. twice-baked potatoes
  • Bacon-wrapped asparagus
  • 10 oz. baguette bread
  • 9 oz DiLusso Classic Chef Salad
  • Four mini gourmet cupcakes

Everything comes uncooked except for the cupcakes and bread, so you can still use your own recipe that you love for your meat and seafood. All you have to do is cook the meal, sit down and enjoy the meal over a bottle of wine (or drink of your choice). I highly recommend doing this if you are planning to stay home and want to cook a delicious meal.
