In the beauty world, people are raving about the Wet’n Wild Photo Focus Foundation and Concealer but I’m here to let you know whether or not this is a miss or a hit. I’m all about drugstore foundations because they are some REALLY good foundations out there. I purchased this foundation a few weeks ago because one of my blog friends Steffanie from Brighter Darling was trying it out and she too has oily skin like myself, so I jumped on the bandwagon.
Wet’n Wild Photo Focus Foundation
Let’s talk about the foundation first. What makes this different than any other drugstore foundation? Well, let me tell you what Wet’n Wild claims it’s matte and light adjusting formula. It was designed to give your skin the #NoFilter affect without reflecting any white casts in a range of photo situations. The Wet’n Wild Photo Focus Foundation went under 7 different lighting conditions to ensure that it delivered the perfect photo ready every time, including clear blue sunlit sky, outdoors/indoors pm, electronic flash, fluorescent light, bathroom light and nightclub light.

Wet’n Wild Photo Focus Foundation Review:
There are a few things I DID NOT like about this foundation:
- First thing is that it doesn’t come in a variety of shades. My normal foundation shade is a neutral beige (around that shade) and this looked like all my other foundation shades but to my surprise, it WASN’T! This was so light on me.
- Second thing is that it didn’t stay matte. I was oily after a few hours of using it. I’ve tried different primers with it and it just didn’t stay matte.
- The third thing I wish it came in a pump instead of a spatula form.
Things I loved about this foundation:
- It’s buildable coverage.
- Blends perfectly with a beauty blender or blending brush.
- Super light weight.
- Cruelty-free and vegan.
Wet’n Wild Photo Focus Concealer
Just like the foundation it also claims to give you the #NoFilter affect. It was also tested under 7 different light settings. I have never tried any of the Wet’n Wild concealers before and this concealer has definitely lived up to the expectations. I have never tried the NARS concealer but from what I’ve heard this is basically a dupe for that.
Small amounts of this concealer go long ways. I definitely recommend this concealer.
Have you tried any of these products from Wet’n Wild?
